    BUZZWORD COMPLIANT DICTIONARY
J

James Bond Effect: Shaken not stirred. As in: Your actions worry me, but I'm still not going to change.
Nominated by Justine Scorrer

Java: While it can be robust, it should never be considered coffee. It’s a programming language that can run on any computer system. At one time considered to be the thing that would bring Microsoft to its knees. We’re still waiting.

Jet Blued: To spend more time sitting on the runway than in the air. "I got Jet Blued this weekend."
Nominated by Vicky Austin

jingle mail: To simply mail your house keys back to the bank because the mortgage is worth more than the house itself. (Pssst: The keys "jingle" in the otherwise empty envelope.)

jitterati: What the digital generation becomes after sipping one too many cups of Starbucks.

job spill: Any job-related task that has to be completed during the work day and cuts into your personal time. T-shirt, mug available

joe-job: A technique used by spammers to harass a particular Web site or e-mail user by making it seem as if the unsuspecting site is the source of vast quantities of spam. The attacker will send out millions of e-mail messages with the headers forged to appear to come from their victim.
Nominated by Fritz Liess

just-in-time: The hottest link in the business supply chain. The concept is to keep a company’s inventory to an absolute minimum. Parts and raw materials are delivered by suppliers to manufacturers at the precise moment they’re needed. In turn, manufacturers produce and deliver their products to their customers just-in-time to be sold. The shining example of this is Dell Computers.
